 General F&Q's on RSS Feed.
What is Rss?
RSS, most commonly expanded as "Really Simple Syndication", is a simple pull-based alternate to read your favorite Business Standard content.
A Business-standard.com RSS document (also called a "feed") includes the Headline, a brief introduction of the story, the publishing date and time, author information and a link back to the story.
How do I collect and read this content?
RSS feeds can be read using a software/service called an "RSS reader", "feed reader", or "aggregator", which can be web-based, desktop-based, or mobile-device-based.
A standardised XML file format allows the information to be published once and viewed by many different programs. The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's URL or by clicking an RSS icon in a web browser into the RSS reader that initiates the subscription process. The RSS reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new work, downloads any updates that it finds, and provides a user interface to monitor and read the feeds.
How is RSS beneficial to me as a Reader?
As a reader I can stay regularly updated even if I miss to visit business-standard.com.
Importantly I can set my topic preferences. We at business-standard.com have categorised the RSS feeds into various sections and sub-sections to enable you to choose from a wide variety of topics.
I run a website - Can I integrate your RSS feeds in my website
Yes. RSS feeds are FREE and simple to integrate, and we encourage website owners to integrate them into your web offering.
As a website owner, you can strengthen the content of your website and benefit from a large repository of credible content at zero investment.
